Central Virginia’s All Muslim Cemetery
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا
. اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْته مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ , وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْته مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ
“O Allah! Forgive our living and dead, present and absent, big and small, men and women. O Allah! Whoever among us is kept alive by You, keep him alive on Islam, and whoever You give death, let him die on Imaan.”
Islamic Funeral Services of Virginia, Inc., (IFSVA), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, has established Al-Barzakh Islamic Cemetery located on Route 725 in Doswell, Virginia. It is located on approximately two-thirds of an acre, about 20 miles north of Richmond. Take I-95 North and get off at the Kings Dominion exit, Route 30. Take Route 30 East to Route 725. Turn right on Route 725 and go less than 1/2 mile, you will see the green and white sign on your right at the gate that leads to the cemetery.
There are currently 30 Muslims buried at the cemetery (September 25,2011).
